Plan to build and improve roads on Rapa Nui

On Easter Island, US$ 2.4 million will be spent improving the road network, to allow tourists to travel from the capital Hanga Roa to some of the more isolated island spots. “Just over four kilometres of road will be put down in the new project” said Manuel Alvarez, the MOP Region V director.
