Because without any disrespect to the 3-year-old Drift, this is hardly a fine dining setting. This is an island style bar, done up in retro-hip grotto with rock walls, tiki poles, blowfish lamps and Easter Island statues under a low bamboo ceiling.

Most of the men are over six foot tall and due to a life style of fishing, surfing, farming and building work, they have the kind of physic an avid gym goer would be envious of. And many of the women could happily enter a Miss Universe competition. And then there is the dancing - men and women think nothing of shaking their booty and giving come hither looks in their traditional dances, in a way which is completely impossible for the average Briton to emulate.

They found that in the extremely nutrient-poor waters of the South Pacific near Easter Island, ultraviolet radiation penetrates up to 328 feet into the ocean. Those measurements are the highest ever reported for oceanic waters and are equal to those measured in the clearest freshwaters.
